Beads, In Any Language

A few months ago I was asked to help edit the English version of a Czech bead magazine. I happily accepted since promoting beads, beading and all things bead-related is something I love to do.

I believe that Koralky Magazine has been around for a while but took a break because of the poor economic situation that we find ourselves in at the moment. It now has a new publisher and a new vision for having a print version in Czech and a digital edition in English.

The magazine includes projects for wire work, chain maille and bead weaving, as well as a few Czech recipes and an interview with a Designer (who you may have heard of...).

The first English edition is now available. You can download a 15-page sample for free.

But of course, we hope that you will purchase the entire 56-page edition, which is available through Etsy.

An interesting tidbit: the publisher doesn't feel confident speaking

English and I know three words in Czech (koralky being the most important one), so we communicate in French.

Beads... in any language.
