Necklace and Earrings ~ Elsie

Necklace and Earrings ~ Elsie

A few years ago one of my coats needed a new zipper. While I was unpicking the stitching, I wondered what I would do with the rather attractive pull. Then the thought struck me that superduo beads look like zipper teeth, and the idea was born to make a necklace that looked like a zipper. Make sure that you stitch the slider firmly in place. Someone is sure to come up to you, wanting to zip up your necklace!

  • About This Design...

The Elsie Necklace and Earrings require superduo beads, size 10/0 cylinder beads, size 15/0 seed beads, size 5 zipper slider, two size 3 zipper sliders, 5mm jump rings, three-strand clasp and a pair of ear wires.

The  PDF tutorial includes a detailed materials list, written instructions and 30 full-colour illustrations. It is a digital file that can be viewed on a screen or printed on sheets of paper. There are no beads included with the purchase of this pattern.

After purchasing the tutorial, a link will be sent to your e-mail address so the PDF file can be downloaded to your computer or other device.  Please note that this link expires after one month.

The tutorial and project made from the instructions are for your personal use only, and may not be taught or sold in any way, shape or form.

  • BONUS Earrings

The Elsie Necklace was originally published in my book “Beautiful Designs with SuperDuos and Twin Beads” (2014). Because this book is no longer in print, I have released this design on its own. This tutorial includes bonus Earrings that were never published in the book.
