Rope ~ Lonicera Vine

Rope ~ Lonicera Vine

The basic twisted herringbone stitch has a gentle spiral that is offset by one bead from round to round. If peyote stitch can be done with a twist, why can’t herringbone also be done this way? After several experiments, I designed this rope that is offset by eight rows creating a tighter twist to the usual spiral herringbone stitch.

This is the 13th project released from my unpublished book Stitching with Seed Beads.
